Meet Alys Rivers, The Creepy Woman from Harrenhal

Alys Rivers’s job is to heal the people who resides at Harrenhal currently. As seen in the series, her predecessor had fled during the Dance of Dragons. It seems Daemon is hallucinating due to her strange potions. And lastly, she is from House Strong. Also, she has the ability to show the future vision, so, some may called her the witch.

Relationship with Daemon:
Daemon Targaryen seizes Harrenhal by using his power and dragon from Ser Simon Strong. And in the meantime, he meets with Alys Rivers. Now, Daemon has started hallucinating some weird things and finds himself in front of Harrenhal’s weirwood tree. And Alys warns, “You will die in this place.”

Who is Alys Rivers in Fire and Blood Book?
According to Munkun and Eustace, she may be a bas-tard daughter of Lyonel Strong. But Mushroom gives a different opinion about her. He says that she was a wet nurse to Lyonel himself when he was an infant. And this incident is making her old enough to be the grandmother of Lyonel’s adult sons during the war. Mushroom also believed that Alys knew and practiced dark magic so that she may remain young in her old days. The magic includes bathing in the blood of virg-ins. But Munkun and Eustace do not believe Mushrooms claims. And they can’t deny the fact that she must be around 40y ears old at the time of battle. All eye witnesses also declares the same.

She babysits Lyonel’s sons, Harwin and Larys.

In House of The Dragon Series:
A strong war is fought here and the greens retook Harrenhal. Prince Aemond Targaryen declared the deaths of all persons of House Strong but spared Alys’s life. Because a old lady is required to take care of the injured persons from the war.
