She tries to do a peace between the houses but Alicent does not want to do that, so, the inevitable is coming. Actually, Ser Criston Cole is going to show his heroics in Rook’s Rest battle. He is seen beheading a man. Lord Staunton sadly observed that his fields, woods and Villages were burned to the ground. His sheep and cattle and smallfolk put to the sword. But he can’t do anything but watching .Only his Gates are closed and defied the attackers behind his walls.

When provisions inside the castle began to run low he dispatched a raven to Dragon Stone pleading for successor.
